It’s become an annual tradition – each year Ted and Tony hit the road and check out Rue Morgue’s Festival of Fear, which comprises part of Fan Expo — one of the world’s foremost celebrations of horror / sci-fi / gaming / etc. The 2011 installment of the Expo was a massive event, and your hosts were there to cover the best of the fest. For the first time ever, Festival of Fear coverage is being expanded into a podcast trilogy, packed with some of the most renowned names in horror and sci-fi!
In the first part of our coverage, we make the most of our travel time, catching-up on a few recent release (including the remake of Fright Night, the new Conan Flick, and Final Destination 5). While on the floor at the Expo, there’s a panel with make-up great and horror fav Tom Savini, a lovely chat with Victoria Price – daughter of horror legend Vincent, and a visit with a previous HETC guest.
These Festival of Fear episodes have always been popular with our listeners, and we hope you will enjoy our thorough coverage over the next few weeks… and you’ll never believe the story that Ted and Tony have to tell following a chance encounter on Friday night — but you’ll have to wait until next week for that one.

The FOF episodes are like my mini-Christmas. Can’t wait to hear this one. I’m going on a road trip in two weeks, and through incredible willpower I am managing to save the newest HETC episodes (from the Video Nasties episode up to when I leave) to listen to in the car. It’s gonna be a Horror Etc marathon up in there.
I always enjoy it when you guys go on the road and cover the Festival of Fear. Now that it will be a trilogy, it will be all the more enjoyable.
The interview with Victoria Price was great. She sounded very pleasant.
oh, and I can’t wait to find out what your teaser is all about!
